What Services does the Medical Department offer?

A full range of outpatient medical services is offered at the Menominee Tribal Clinic.  We see patients of all ages including babies, children, adults and pregnant women.  We care for urgent and routine medical problems including diabetes, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, injuries and infections. Emergency care is provided at the Shawano Medical Center.   Physical exams are offered for children and adults along with immunizations, routine women’s health care and health promotion.  Diabetes and asthma education is available.  Procedures performed at the clinic include minor surgery, colposcopy, cryotherapy, IUD insertions, and OB ultrasounds.

The department is staffed by family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered and licensed practical nurses, a wellness educator and a physical therapist.  A visiting cardiologist and podiatrist also provide clinic care.  Full lab and x-ray services are available Monday through Friday.

Clinic hours are from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.  Walk-in services are also available between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM daily.

Ask-a-Nurse phone triage services are provided during regular clinic hours by a registered nurse.

Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM by calling 799-5400.  Cancellations of appointments are appreciated at least 24 hours in advance so that other patients may use that appointment time.
